Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies - Healthy Style

I made these Healthier Chocolate Chip Cookies recently. I baked them several times in a row over the past week since my child....okay myself included... can't get enough of them. I decided to mix it up a little by adding cinnamon, oats, and dark chocolate chips.
Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies - Healthy Style

 1/4 cup coconut oil

1/2 cup unrefined coconut sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 Tablespoon agave nectar

1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

 1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 1/4 cups flour

1/2 cup old fashioned oats

 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips


1.) Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

2.) In a mixing bowl, cream coconut oil and coconut sugar together.

3.) Add in egg, vanilla, and agave nectar to the creamed oil and sugar.

4.) Sift cinnamon, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and flour together. Slowly begin adding the sifted dry ingredients into the creamed mixture until well incorporated.

5.) Stir in oats and chocolate chips.
6.) Drop cookie dough onto baking sheet the size of 2 Tablespoons.

7.) Baking in preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until lighted golden in the edges.

** This recipe make 12 cookies. **
